The RACGP's consolidated operating performance remains very positive, the balance sheet position is strong and the organisation maintains a healthy long-term liquidity position. 2017 Academic Session

2017 Academic Session

The 2017 National Academic Session, Fellowship and Awards Ceremony was held at the International Convention Centre in Sydney on Wednesday 25 October 2017. The William Arnold Conolly Oration was presented by Dr Jay Parkinson MD, MPH, the founder of Sherpaa, the world’s first primary care-in-the-cloud practice. More than 200 new Fellows were presented at the ceremony.

GP17 – The RACGP’s annual conference for general practice

‘General practice: The foundation of patient-centred care’ was the theme for the RACGP’s annual conference, GP17, held at the International Convention Centre in Sydney on 26–28 October 2017. More than 2300 delegates attended, including 74 medical students, and the conference exhibition welcomed 142 organisations.
